PASTOR & LEADING LADY

 

Reverend Antonio Bernard and his wife Christine (Watkins) Reaves are the “Dynamic Duo” when it comes to leadership.  Antonio was born in Jackson, TN, to parents Oliver Bernard Reaves and Mary Virginia Grimes (Reaves) Hunt. Christine was born in Chicago, Illinois to parents Jimmy Dee Watkins, Jr. and  Virginia (Cole) Watkins.

 

He and his wife Christine are dedicated leaders and teachers of the congregation at Jerusalem Missionary Church in Bells, TN. Reverend Reaves will tell you he is from Denmark, “Neely Station” in Madison County, Tennessee and he has a story to tell. Pastor Reaves preached his first sermon April 15th, 2012 at his home church of Mount Olive Baptist Church in Denmark, TN, where he has been a member since he gave his life to Christ. He was Ordained December 8th, 2013 at his home church under the leadership of Reverend Tommy Woods Sr..

 

Reverend Reaves attended American Bible College under the tutorship of Dean Earl Wade, where he pursued a degree in Christian Leadership.  Pastor Reaves began his journey into leading a congregation when he was elected Pastor of Jerusalem MB Church in May of 2015.  Reverend Reaves started his service to the congregation the 1st Sunday in June and is still serving in this capacity.

 

Pastor Reaves has been employed at Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Tennessee since October of 2009, and his wife, Christine, is employed by the Jackson Madison County School System.  Together they make the perfect “POWER COUPLE” who has a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and LOVE to share, and they share it willingly.
